Book Tour! A Long Way from Iowa

A Long Way from Iowa: From the Heartland to the Heart of France launched at the Red Wheelbarrow Bookshop in Paris in April. That was followed by other events in Paris and Nice, and then a wonderful 49-day, coast-to-coast book tour in the U.S.

Now it’s time for me to build on the momentum created in the tour, and if you’d like to, you can help! Write a little Amazon or Goodreads review. (It’s easy.) Tell your friends and family about the book. Buy the book as a holiday gift for your friends, from your local indie bookseller, or from Bookshop.org. Suggest the book for your book group, and invite me to join your group via Zoom for a conversation!

Here are some highlights from the launch thus far. I hope you enjoy the book, and if you do I hope you’ll let me know!

Celebrating the publication of A Long Way From Iowa: From the Heartland to the Heart of France at Politics and Prose Bookstore in WASHINGTON DC on September 23. Despite stormy weather, we had a good crowd; more signed books are available in the store for those who couldn’t make it, and here’s a link to the recording of my conversation with Bob Attardi that night.

Signed copies of A Long Way From Iowa are available at Greenlight Bookstore in FT. GREENE, BROOKLYN. Snap them up while they last!
